The Wright Place TV Show Goes Network
Starting August 1, 2006 on KVMD
Rancho Cucamonga, CA – July10, 2006 – Growing from a community show to a regional television show that is on network television can be a huge undertaking. Most people can not name a show that has been able to do so. With the growth of satellite television and increased channel options every year, the chances of getting a local show on network is still very slim.
Dr. Letitia Wright of the Wright Place TV Show will start the new season on KVMD. Each Tuesday night at 6:30 PM, women all over Southern California will” be able to get a quick lesson on business growth. “I share success stories but also the real strategy behind the success. It’s not enough to share what you did, but you need to share how you did it. There are plenty of people who want that same kind of success and could get it if they knew how.” Says Dr. Wright, host of the show. “People think there are only a few paths to success and if you don’t take that path, you wont make it. I like for viewers to hear about a lot of possibilities so they can apply the best to their own situation. If you learn a little bit every week, you’ll create the success you want.”

AMAZON.com is the worst with customer service!!!
The saga starts with my buying an book online. I orderd the book as a downloadable file, it comes as a .EDT file
EDT?? what is that? Where is my PDF book?? Even my computer doesnt know what
is is and I figure I should call and see what is going on.
I call for help ( call number one- keep track)
and tell them, they look and the system and say,
something is wrong and they will but in an order to fix it.
I hang up.
But I have a funny feeling and a few hours later I call.
Call #2: I am calling because I have been unable to download by
digital book. She says, someone took a call from you but did
not order anyone to do anything about it, She will ask that
department to look into it.
I get an email saying I can download my book now, but its still an EDT
file so, I really cant.
Call #3: I cant download the book, its been 3 days, She says I
must wait 24 hours to 48 hours for an answer from their IT department
CAll #4: I get an email saying I have to 48 hours from TODAY FOR THE
IT Department to fix this problem. I call and tell them I want a refund
forget the book, it doesnt work and clearly you cant fix it
The next day I get an email saying, since it was a digital product
and I already downloaded it, it will take 7-10 BUSINESS
DAYS to refund my $14.97
HERE IS the actual LEtter!

Lieberman Productions, a top infomercial production company, is looking for real Proactiv Solution customers ages 18-55, of all ethnicities, to appear as audience members in a celebrity shoot for a new infomercial for Proactiv Solution. If chosen, qualified applicants will receive FREE Proactiv Solution product and the possibility to share their Proactiv story on television.

You must be willing to allow cameras to follow you during key moments of this emotionally trying time, from beginning to end. However, we would not follow you around constantly. The show is about the challenge of searching for, finding, buying, and moving into that perfect new home.

AOL and Yahoo charge for email
COMPANIES will soon have to buy the electronic equivalent of a postage stamp if they want to be certain their emails are delivered.
America Online and Yahoo!, two of the largest email account providers, are about to start using a system that gives preference to messages from companies that pay up to US1¢ each to have them delivered. The senders must promise to contact only people who have agreed to receive their messages or risk being blocked.
The internet companies say this will help them identify legitimate mail and reduce junk email, identity-theft scams and other scourges that plague users. They also will earn millions of dollars a year if the system is widely adopted.
AOL and Yahoo! will still accept email from senders who have not paid, but the paid messages will be given special treatment. On AOL, for example, they will go straight to users' main mailboxes and will not have to pass the gauntlet of spam filters
Now my question is , who has any IMPORTANT email going to

and aftermath including: flooding, intense weather,
devastation and attempts to deal with living in the
days after, stories about regular people dealing
with loss, recovery and survival, as well as rescues.
The Flood Safety Education Project, a nonprofit ,
nongovermental organization, will pay discounted rates
of up to $10 per second of footage for television broadcast .
We can use all video formats but prefer DV,
DV-CAM or HDV of:
Heavy rain
Intense weather
High winds
Urban flooding
Flood damage
Rescue
Historic floods

It was a great show! She is so talented! Altadena is her
home town ( as was mine for years). I saw a lot of
people I know there too. T.C Carson sang a few songs
at the top of the show also. I have a great interview from him
at the Vagina Monologues earlier this summer.
He was in Anamatrix~ I missed that, I'll have to rent it
and listen for his voice again.

Well, show biz is show biz and my question got bumped from the show
perhaps they will add it to a follow up show but
it wasnt on there...

I asked her what the business owners should to to get SBA help
because the SBA wants tax records and collateral and many of the
Katrina victims no longer have either.
Orman said that people should go to FEMA first and file with them
then go to SBA. SBA is tied into IRS, so their tax records can be found
She also said SBA would be more generous than they ever have before.

I think there may be some changes going on that will help business owners
but its a little too soon to say exactly what they will be.
You can get 90 days or so extension on some credit cards and you
need to contact your lenders to find out what can be done.

I had a terrific interview with T. Harv Eker
He is the author or Millionaire Mind. He teaches opeople how
to change their mind set and increase the amount of
money they are making. He talks about a set point we have in
our minds about money.
His company is only 4 years old and its doing phenominally
His books was #1 on NY times, Walls Street Journal and
USA today bestseller list.
He believes everyone should be rich so they help people
and live the life they want to live.
What I find interesting is , he was a really nice person,
I watched him deal with people and he was not arrogant
or rude. As far as show guests are, the more wealthy they
are, the nicer they are. Thats just my personal experience.
My friend who is a talk show host says, the wealthier they are
the worst their behavior, but that is her experience.
We agreed to compare notes again in 6 months.

Katrina and Nasty Marketers
I feel the same way ...
This was sent to me by Armand Morin:
you have to speak up about things that are just plain wrong!
I have been watching the news about Hurricane Katrina as I am sure
you have been too. My heart goes out to these people and I pray
they get the assitance they need as fast as humanly possible.
What makes me sick are the emails I have been receiving over
the past few days from people "claiming" to help. Maybe they
are sincere maybe not. I don't know.

One marketer sent out information about how you can help. I
clicked on the link because I want to help out as much as I
possibly can.
Here's what made me sick to my stomach...
He had the nerve to actually require you to enter your name
and email address into an optin box in order to get the info!!!
What a marketing SCUMBAG! I normally don't talk like this, but
this one really got on my nerves. Why not just give the info?
Is this guy really that bad off that he has to profit
from these poor people? That's about as low as it gets!!!

Case #2 - Buy My Crap and I'll Donate (I don't think so)

I am certainly not going to buy anyone's stuff and HOPE that my
money goes to these people. Think about it, it first has to go

charity.
I DON'T THINK SO!!!
What is this person thinking? Hmmmm... if I use this DISASTER
which has left thousand of people HOMELESS... I can get my
product into the hands of more people... YOU IDIOT!
Again... another person who seems to be high on crack!
If you want to by a product, then buy a product. If you want
to donate, then donate directly to the source. PERIOD!
You don't have to buy a product in order to donate your
money to worthy charity or organization. Just do it.
Let me make my stance PERFECTLY CLEAR!
YOU DON'T PROFIT FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S MISFORTUNES!
These people are devastated, they lost their jobs, their homes,
some lost their loved one's lives, or maybe even their own life

I am reading Radical Careering
This is a cool new book for people who want
to love their work. If you hate your job, this
book will help you get to where you want to
be. If you like your job, there are insights on
how to LOVE your job.
It's kind written like Tom Peters stuff
you know- get up off your butt and do
something. I just started the book, so I am
not trying to do an entire review here.
Its just that I love meeting people who love their
jobs. Even if they are just a sanitation worker,
a person who loves their job, does it like its art.
Plus they are fun to be around, they can almost
convince YOU to like their job.
When you meet those surly people who hate their
jobs and hate you for 'making' then do their jobs,
its just a horrible experience all around.

New shows
The Season is starting off with shows about the
Business Opportunity Expo in Orange county, which is
brought to you by the same people who created
the Business Women's Series.
This happens Nov 19th, and is great for people
still deciding on what they want to do when they
start their own business. There will be seminars
and business there that you can check out and
see if you want to be a part of them.
We also had Edison, there are still savings programs
that you can take advantage of if you live in Southern
California becuase they consider September part of
Summer.

The Aflac Duck
Yesterday I was at the WLE conference. One of the workshops I attended was with the guy who created the AFLAC duck campaign. His interactive workshop included some power point pictures and video to illustrate his points. He didnt do the boring thing where you
read your entire power point to people who can see it and are sitting there reading it with you. He has a new book out called Bang, and he gave us an excercise on how to create bang. It was fun, hats off to my 'business partners'- we created Creative Drinking- a business services company and our tag line was

was too hot! This cool blue is more like my mood. We are about
to slide into our 2005-2006 season an d I have some great
guests lined up for the new season. The website is rebuilt and
running so now if you dont like in the area, you can watch the
show every Tuesday and Friday. This week the guests are
Gerri D. Smith and SC Edison will talk about ways to save 20% on
your summer heating bills.
Many shows have started taping this month, and so will we.
On Tuesday I will be attending Womens Leadership Exchange meeting'
